The story of Gaudiano Companies is the story of the Foggia area, that - successfully - merges the destinies of two memorable families tied to the rural reality of Daunia: the Mancini's, industrialists from Foggia with an international reputation, imposing themselves from 1920 to 1950 upon the domestic and foreign market as leader company in the field of construction of agricultural machineries and in the innovation and realization of industrial licenses; and the Gaudiano's, pertaining to the great property ownership. Two families joined by an identical social and political sense, the same education, a socio-economic affinity that made of both the feather in its cap of the newborn rural economy of South Italy.
An industrious world, that melts together the cultured rural aristocracy with the workers devoted to the practical management of the manor farm - family in the family -, is what the manor farm tells us, giving a precious figurative fresco. Stories of a poor but proud civilization, reveling of a vast popular cultural structure that, even if contaminated and supported by the modern technologies, is still alive and recognizable in today's Gaudiano Companies.
